Chemistry was interesting yesterday. We were having practical that day. Testing anions was what we had to do for the 2 periods. It was really fun mixing the chemicals. One of it was adding sodium hydroxide and some aluminum foil into nitrate ions, which is supposed to trigger a vigorous reaction when heated(open eyes wide). So I added more than needed amount of chemicals and heat it with the bunsen burner. Within a few seconds the whole thing in the test tube almost splatted out.
Then Kenneth complained that the test tube was pointing towards him. Oops.

I turned around to see how Saiful was doing. He was doing the same experiment as me but mixed everything in small proportion. After heating it for a few seconds, his test tube.... *boom!*

The bottom part of his test tube shattered! The whole solution escape through the bottom and onto the bunsen burner. Of course the flame extinguished and i quickly turned off the gas.

Heys! It's always funny when it happens to someone. HAHAHA.



Too bad Saiful can't keep the test tube as a memento
